Spring 2022 Housing Assignments—COVID 19 Vaccination Status

At this time, Penn College has not mandated that students must be vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to beginning the 2021-22 Academic Year. That said, we strongly encourage all students to get vaccinated, as doing so will further ensure our ability to offer and sustain the hands-on education you both desire and deserve.

Furthermore, a large percentage of our population being fully vaccinated will afford the College the ability to consider loosening a number of environmental controls (masking, distancing, occupancy, visitation, etc.) currently in place. In turn, this will enhance the overall student experience, especially in our on-campus residential community.

We encourage all students who have received the COVID-19 vaccination to upload their vaccination records via the College’s Vaccination Record Submission Form

Most incoming new resident students have been assigned on-campus housing for the Spring 2022 semester. These assignments can be viewed by logging onto the Student Information System (SIS). If, after connecting with your roommate(s), you learn their vaccination status differs from yours and is a cause of concern for you, please contact the Residence Life Office at your convenience via phone, (570) 320-8023, or email, We can work to reassign you with a roommate(s) of similar vaccination status. To best assist you, we ask that you contact our office with such concerns no later than Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

Thank you for your time and attention. As COVID-19 continues to affect everyone to varying degrees, please know that the College remains sensitive to this fact and will do what is necessary to ensure that our living-learning environment is one in which every student has the positive, impactful experience they seek.
