Because tomorrow begins today

Unsure what you want to study in college? No problem, join us this summer for an overnight Pre-College Program. Or, better yet, try a few different ones. From architecture to aviation and everything in between, there's something for everyone.

Architecture Odyssey

June 14-18

Discover the world of architecture and sustainable design through design studios and seminars, field trips to building sites, and visits with local architects.

Autism Spectrum Post-Secondary Interest Experience (ASPIE)

June 18-19

Students with autism spectrum disorders, and their parents, will obtain valuable information about post-secondary education and career exploration.

Automotive Restoration

June 14-17

Learn what it takes to return vintage cars and trucks to their former glory while immersing in the world of automotive restoration. Included will be a tour of a vintage car museum.

Discover the world of aviation maintenance by hands-on applications of sheet metal, composite materials, and engine operation. A tour of a vintage aircraft collection is included.

Workshops will explore working in greenhouses, floral design, landscape design, landscape equipment operation, and nature walks.

Looking for a hands-on career in an in-demand field? This three-day program will introduce you to options in diesel technology and heavy equipment maintenance and operation.

Summer Studio guides participants through the graphic design process from ideation, concept development, and production to create real-world visual design solutions.

Thingamajig Fabricators

July 19-24

Experience the marvels of modern manufacturing. Learn how everyday objects are designed and fabricated. Throughout this week-long program, you'll work with 3D design software, run mills and lathers, and weld varying projects.

Here's how it works:

  • Complete a Pre-College Program during the summer before entering 9-12 grade. 
  • Or better yet, come for two Pre-College Programs. Pick a different program the second time around or come for the same one twice. Each year we mix things up.
  • Attend Penn College and receive $1,000 off your tuition each year if you came for one program. 
  • Or, get $2,000 off your tuition each year if you join us for two programs.
