Financial Aid Programs
Grants are financial awards that help many Penn College students who meet all eligibility requirements pay for college expenses. Grants are based on financial need and do not require repayment. Completing a FAFSA is the only application for federal grants.
Scholarships are financial awards to help cover college expenses. Some scholarships can be renewed in future years, whereas others are specifically for one year or one semester. Students must apply for scholarships.
Educational loans help students and parents pay for college expenses that other types of aid and family resources may not cover. Unlike grants and scholarships, loans need to be repaid. Each type of loan has its own application process.
